A nicely toned didrachm or nomos from Thourioi

LUCANIA. Thourioi. Circa 350-300 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 19 mm, 6.38 g, 12 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned, on the bowl, with Skylla pointing with her left hand. Rev. ΘOYPIΩN / ΣΩ Bull butting right; below, two dolphins. HN Italy 1820. SNG ANS 1067. Beautifully toned and of lovely style. A few minor old scratches, otherwise, good very fine.
